Family.
/brotherkash asked: If it’s not too much to ask, and if it’s not already out there, is there a way to know how many times someone has referred to Vox Machina as a family?
Voxhona means family. Probably.

/How many times (and when) did Tiberius introduce himself?
29: We’ve got all of those times detailed here.
What is the male sphinx named?
A name is earned (by watching Episode 49). We’ve got a document with all the riddles that’s spoiler-free as long, as you don’t scroll too far, if you want to figure it out alongside the party. If you are really intent on spoiling yourself, you can find it on our NPC list.
When did Grog say, “Have you heard the good news of our Lord and Savior MY AXE IN YOUR FACE?!”

/Do we know where the party got the immovable rod?
We do! They received it in Whitestone from Jordana (ep30, 2:09:55), who was tending the magic shop in her father’s “absence.” There was a second immovable rod used earlier in the stream (Ep11, 2:42:44), which was last seen in Tiberius’ possession.
Vex said this week she has two dragon slaying arrows, I remember that one came from Zahra, but do we know where she got the other one?
The first Arrow of Dragon Slaying was looted from the quiver of one of Rimefang’s earlier victims (ep19, 3:40:58). Vex specifically set this one aside to be used on the dragon that killed her mother. (Zahra gifted the second arrow at Ep44, 4:43:45.)

/When did Vex get her bag of holding?
We’re aware of three Vox Machina Bags of Holding:
- The main BoH, carried by Grog since before the stream (also RIP, Dork the Ox).
- Tiberius’, which he picked up from Draconia (Discussed in Ep14, 0:26:12)
- The refrigerated BoH, granted to Take Team 1 (which included Vex) to harvest Rimefang’s bits (Ep18, 0:34:35), and presumably given as a permanent gift thereafter.
Which video did Liam tell the story about how he felt embarrassed because nobody responded to his email about playing D&D again? Big fan guys!
Thanks! Liam’s told the story several times, but you may be content to hear it at SDCC 2015.

In-Party Conflict
/Anonymous Asked: I'm kind of curious if you guys know how many times the members of Vox Machina have attacked each other intentionally - like for example Scanlan punching Percy in the stockade, or Grog attacking Percy for the skull?
For the purposes of this answer, we aren’t including attacks that are intended for other creatures-like Area of Effect spells where a party member wasn’t the target- or if the damage dealt to a party member was unintentional.
Read MoreHag Deals
/alaskathenerdfightingwholockian asked: Regarding your earlier post about the hag deals, wasn't "a bit of Tiberius's luck" a part of the deal for the mending wheel or am I just delusional?
You’re not delusional! Before the stream, Tiberius made a deal with the hag Trysta for the Wheel of Mending in exchange for “a piece of his luck.” (Matt explained that while it went unimplemented, this lack of luck has, in previous campaigns, taken the shape as a one-time-only forced Natural 1!)
Hag Deals
/anonymous asks: Do you know what was the hag's trade with VM before stream/on stream? I know that she(?) gave something to Vax, but not what he did to return the favor.
Vox Machina has made deals with two hags.
The first was pre-stream. The Story of Vox Machina background video (0:08:22) speaks of the deal that Tiberius made with Trysta for his mending wheel. In Episode 20 (0:18:13), Trysta’s sister (who we’ll get to in a second) mentions that she can see the part of Tiberius that is still missing, and Tiberius responds that he, “still [doesn’t] know what that means.” The rest of the party also bartered with Trysta to escape the island they were trapped on. Here’s the transcript, provided by Matt to Critical Role Transcriptions:
Barely escaping, they eventually discover the base remnants of an ancient town, long toppled… and a small hut that contains a clever Hag named Trysta. Tiberius finds one of his prized artifacts, and makes a dangerous deal to acquire it. The party barters for information on how to escape, which Trysta will give… in exchange for their aid in slaying a newly nested denizen that threatens her… work.
The party agrees, climbing to the very top of the Crystalfen Cavern to do battle with an Umberhulk! The fight goes south when Grog is tossed from the cavern ceiling, nearly dying upon impact with the island… but victory is eventually theirs! Returning, Trysta shows them a hidden staircase that exits into the Graveyard District of Emon.
The second deal took place during the Trial of the Take Part 3 episode. Vax, Tiberius, and Keyleth happen upon the tent of Forsythia, Trysta’s sister. There, after Tiberius purchases two Potions of Greater Healing and a vial of caustic liquid, Vax trades “a favor” for a vial of strong poison. He used that poison in an attack on Delilah Briarwood in Episode 34 (2:58:57), which allowed him to deal an additional 6d6 of poison damage.
Character Alignment Changes
/Anonymous Asked: I don't remember if it was ever actually mentioned in the episodes, how do you guys know about character alignment changes?
They wouldn’t mention it on-air, since that’s pretty meta-gamey. ;) We know of both changes thanks to Matt, which he shared on Twitter for Tibs (and confirmed by us at Wizard World) and on Reddit for Vex.
Character Alignments
/phoenixheart815 Asked: What are Vox Machina's character alignments and who has had theirs shifted since the beginning of the stream?
Current alignments, as of the end of Ep46:
- Vax’ildan: Chaotic Good

- Grog: Chaotic Neutral
- Percy: Neutral Good
- Keyleth: Neutral Good
- Scanlan: Chaotic Good
- Vex’ahlia: Chaotic Neutral (was Neutral Good to Ep46)

Don’t forget that you can also check out alignments as part of the Character Sheets we keep on Dropbox.
