Announcing @CRStatsNews!

crsnews_twitter_avatar2.png

In our recent survey, we noticed many critters didn't know about a lot of projects that we've been presenting for quite some time. Thanks to your feedback, we've been working on several changes to make these projects more visible.

Our first major addition is specifically for the Twitter users who wish to know about our archives and blog posts, but don't want to be overwhelmed by livetweets. @CRStatsNews will be the place for all new blog post releases, project announcements, and CritRoleStats.com news. We can't guarantee it will be spoiler free (because we're us), but you can rest assured that it will not overwhelm your feed.

For those still following @CritRoleStats, we'll continue using it as we always have. It will also retweet any updates from @CRStatsNews, so there's no need to follow both accounts (unless you really want to).

We realize not everyone is on Twitter, and apologize for this oversight in our survey. This particular update will have little value for you, but rest assured that many other changes are already in the works, and some have already been implemented. We'll have a MUCH more detailed survey overview later this week, addressing all manner of your input. Thanks for your support, we love you very much, and Is It Thursday Yet?

Oozes have no sense of self or self-preservation, and are driven solely by a desire to consume. This makes a very aggressive entity that is also very easy to hit and fairly easy to manipulate… provided you know not to announce your presence to them.

Even the most learned mages have yet to understand the extent the strange magic of Eiselcross permeates and affects the area, including its climate. The Mighty Nein haphazardly stumbled across one such side effect: floating embodiments of elemental cold that sap any source of warmth to a subzero equilibrium.

A5 may seem chill from the outside, and you might get a cold reception at the upstairs party. Slide down to the lower level, that’s where all the magic happens. There’s also pudding!

Shortly after the fall of Aeor, a yeti named Allowak was impaled by a crystal monolith from the fallen city. The crystal preserved his body, and the yetis who touched it found their primal rage subside and intelligence enhanced. The enlightened yetis created a sanctuary in secret to protect both themselves from Eiselcross’s natural threats, as well as protect the crystal from anyone who would seek to take it.

The Mighty Nein had faced wild yetis before. Without this previous experience with the more feral kind or Dagen’s knowledge of the Sanctuary, it’s possible that the encounter would have ended in the much more usual bloodshed.
