The shade creepers that battled Bells Hells throughout their time in Jrusar were anything but violent. Through the mutation they experienced through their interactions with the Shade Mother and the Gnarlrock, their appearances changed, and their countenance changed.

The Monsters of Jrusar: An Introduction

The Monsters of Jrusar: An Introduction

Thanks to Rebecca Miles (vraix) for this art piece!

Shiny Stats day to you, Critters!

Our lives have been very busy since the start of Campaign 3, and in an effort to prioritize, we backburnered our Monster Analysis series (indefinitely, at the time). Well, as you may have noticed over the past couple of days, we finally had an opportunity to sit down and reflect on the battles that Bells Hells have faced so far, and the Monster Analyses are back! As we told our Patrons earlier this week, we’ll gather encounters as we find both time to write them and tie them together to the campaign’s events. Posts will be far more intermittent than previous campaigns, but they are back, for real!

With that in mind, with Bells Hells returning to Jrusar, we’re ready to comment on the encounters and creatures they faced during their initial stay in the city. We’re going to start off with this introductory post, and then post each analysis over the next week leading up to episode C3E022, all which will serve as both the usual monster analyses as well as give a brief refresher of what was going on before they left. Before we dive in, we need to establish our overarching framework:

What Does Bells Hells Have Left: Twilight Mirror Museum

What Does Bells Hells Have Left: Twilight Mirror Museum

Thanks to xandrikart for this art piece!

“We’ll pick up there at the roll of initiative, with a slightly damaged glass container containing the quarry of this burglary, with your opposing faction of burglars somewhere in this house, not that far behind you, last you recollect. Hurt, expended, and at the apex of this challenge.”

As Matt laid it out, everything sounds like it’s going great! But, how great, you may wonder? Well, we can’t speak to the future, but since time is conveniently frozen, we can present what resource Bells Hells have at their disposal, right before time the caper resumes.
